Timekeeping with photo finish - it has never been easier!
Keep track of the order and times at the finish, with Stopwatch Camera you have both the stopwatch and photofinish with a single keystroke. Start the timer and press the Lap / Photo for each participant who cross the finishing line. All photos with timestamp are stored in camera roll and of course in the order they were taken (ie the winner first ...).
You can then email or print the picture as proof of the result.
To assist the timekeeper red lines in the camera image can be activated. Stopwatch Camera is also optimized for use on the iPad where the camera take pictures in rapid succession. A tip is to take pictures from the front to catch and prevent blurred images.

Too much lag
Using to take times during a track meet, there was terrible lag when trying to capture the runners. Nice concept but the function lacks what I was needing from a camera capturing the finish line while recording time.
Very helpful tool for less than $1
I got it to help record the time for our triathlon event. The manual record keeping is just crazy especially when multiple racers crosses the line. We do not have a race clock yet ($300+) and this app solved our problem for now. For less than $1 we can record their finish or split time. Their photo and finish time is also a good mementos for the athletes.
I ran it for two hrs on sleep mode to save battery power. I then took 100 photos to see how much power it will consume. Battery power is only down by about 25%...75% remaining.
Wish list:
-Pics has text "Systembygg"...should be editable for my event name
-Stopwatch format "MMM:SS.SS"...should have option to switch to "HH:MM:SS.SS"
-Landscape should be available for iTouch vs Ipad only
Overall, very good tool that shows reliability.
NO DONT BUY
i race my bikes with my friends and we also do time trials so for the time trials I bought this app.
It tried it and it did not lap when you crossed the line so whats the point if the time is not accurate
